Lois B. Glans
Lois B. Glans, 92, formerly of 98 Sleepy Hollow Rd., passed away Friday (January 26, 2018) at the Warren Manor.
Born September 2, 1925, in Ridgway, she was a daughter of James and Rhoda Johnson Bryington. On March 20, 1942, in Kane, she married Archie Glans who preceded her in death in 2010.
Before her retirement, Lois was employed at Stackpole. She enjoyed knitting and ceramics. Most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived for her family.
Surviving are a son, Archie (Sylvia) Glans Jr. of Cochranton; two daughters, Marsha Swedenhjelm of Kane and Kimberley (Wade) Cochran of Ludlow; and a granddaughter, Ashley (Michael) Cochran-Walters.
In addition to her husband and Parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Swedenhjelm; a son-in-law, Darrell Swedenhjelm; three brothers, Harry, James and Walter Bryington; and two sisters, Bernise Seth and June Boschert.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 11:00 am to the time of the funeral at 2:00 pm which will be conducted by the Rev. V. Theodore Benson, pastor of Lebanon Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery in Kanesholm.
