Angelo R. Zaffino
Angelo R. Zaffino, 84, of 318 Greendale Road, passed away Wednesday (January 3, 2018) at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Florida.
Born October 9, 1933, in Kane, he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria Manella Zaffino. On November 15, 1974, in Kane, he married Shirley Work Sharrow who survives.
Ange was a construction worker for Local 603 in Erie. He served his country during the Korean War.
He was a member of the American Legion in Mt. Jewett, the BPO Elks#329 and the NRA.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Shirley Zaffino, are a stepdaughter, Toni (Paul) Hodgdon of Venice, FL; a stepson, Steve (Maria) Sharrow of Kane; Three step-grandsons, Rob Sharrow, Randy Sharrow and Rick (Erin) Sharrow; and a step-granddaughter, Marisa Hodgdon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Randy Sharrow; a brother, Leonard Zaffino; and two sisters, Mary Mealey and Frances Candelora.
A memorial service will be held at a future date to be announced.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
