Mary Jane had a full life, blessed with so many years of marriage with that fine man Babe, and with devoted attention and support from so many of you following his passing. May she rest in peace in that beautiful cemetery on the hill in Smethport.

Condolence: Dick & Mary Jane Just wanted to send my condolences to you both along with family members. Mary Jane always had a unique sense of humor and was very forthright with her comments. She suffered the loss of a son at an early age and a daughter who ironically was a Carol Hanson also! I have a new person in my life for the past 3 years who lives in DuBois and when I travel there I drive through Eldred, Smethport, etc. and I go by the Cumming's Funeral Home and remember the times Bill and I were there. Bill has been gone 5 years now and that seems impossible! It took me a total of two years to get over his death. Life is such a "journey" with God taking you in directions you never even thought of! Bill always said he was going to live to be in his 90s, he just knew it! Sadly that did not come true. Sadly when he passed many members of his family left me behind also. I remember Mary Jane always having a cheeful comment, a joke, and an up-beat personality. She and her husband had 65 years together and now they are together once again.
